Amerina International Capital Management, LLC (Amerina Capital) is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The firm was cofounded by Dr. J. Gerald Kong and Fine Assets Investments Ltd. in March, 2012. Dr. Kong is the President and Managing Director.

Dr. Kong received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The North Carolina State University and MBA in finance from The University of Texas at Dallas. Over the years, he has long been inspired by many commonalities in the fundamental research and quantitative methods shared by financial investment and engineering, therefore has developed his unique investment methodology, which emphasizes the intrinsic value assessment of stocks via a combination of fundamental research and quantitative analysis. Since cofounding Amerina Capital, Dr. Kong has set up and managed two stock portfolios, the U.S. and China Select Portfolio and the Great China Growth Portfolio. Both portfolios have generated significant returns for clients since their inception, which is mostly attributable to Dr. Kong's unique investment approach and dedication to the long term growth of clients' wealth.

Fine Assets Investments Ltd. is a China-based investment management firm. It primarily invests in enterprises registered and operating in the greater China region. With offices located in Beijing and Hong Kong, Fine Assets has a strong local research team that has a deep understanding of China’s capital market and its dynamics, as well as a thorough grasp of the socio-economic environment, politics and culture. The core team leaders all have more than fifteen years of capital management experiences.
